PROJECT 10
URANIA FASOULIDOU

opening 27th at 8pm

The idea began from an observation of an old engraving on a mirror at the entrance of the d624 space. This led to ideas relating to the space itself. The project involves a large-scale wall image. It is realized by semi-tranparant, transparent, and light reflecting tape over the whole walls of the foyer. The image itself graphs an inhabited space. This representation of interior living quarters reflects the surrounding street life. It is subtly noticeable through the reflection of the environment in image, which is created by the light. The image changes with day-light and night-light. In this way the created image functions with, and is transformed by, the surrounding environment.
