Biaxial Testing Systems Overview
Ideal for simulating real-world conditions, ADMET offers both planar biaxial and axial-torsion test systems. ADMET also offers a dynamic fatigue axial-torsion tester capable of performing tests to 20 Hz. ADMET’s planar biaxial test systems are engineered to your sample size, elongation, and test speed and force specifications.
Axial-Torsion | Biaxial Testing Machines
The eXpert 8600 axial-torsion testing machine features high axial and torsional rigidity and have oil-free linear and rotary actuators for clean room operation. They also feature unlimited torsion actuator rotation, wide column spacings, and large actuator strokes for maximum flexibility.
- Axial capacity up to 50 kN (10,000 lbf); Speeds up to 500 mm/min (20 in/min)
- Torque capacity up to 100 Nm (884 in-lbf)
- Exceeds ASTM and ISO accuracy standards
- Read the eXpert 8600 brochure
Axial-Torsion Fatigue | Biaxial Testing Machines
The eXpert 8900 axial-torsion fatigue testing machine is ideal for performing fatigue testing on samples that require both torsional and axial loading. They also feature unlimited torsion actuator rotation, wide column spacings, and loading frequencies up to 20 Hz.
- Max Dynamic Force Capacity: 17.5 kN (3,934 lbf)
- Max Static Force Capacity: 12.5 kN (2810 lbf)
- Position Resolution: 0.0001
- Max Dynamic Torque Capacity: 80 Nm (708 lbf-in)
- Max Static Torque Capacity: 75 Nm (664 lbf-in)
- Angle Resolution: 0.045°
- Dynamic Capability: Up to 20 Hz
- Speed and frequency matched to meet testing requirements
- Stroke: Up to 6 in
- Exceeds ASTM and ISO accuracy standards
Planar Biaxial | Biaxial Testing Machines
ADMET’s planar biaxial test machines are engineered to your sample size, elongation, and test speed and force specifications. Due to the difficulty in gripping many of the sample materials, we engineer special grips, fixtures and jigs to ensure samples are properly loaded in the machine.
- Offered in capacities up to 2 kN (500 lbf)
- Actuator strokes and speeds are tailored to specimen size and testing requirements
- Capable of performing static and cyclic fatigue tests
